Department for Archives and Records Management of the Justice Ministry held a board meeting

On 29 December 2014 the Department for Archives and Records Management of the Justice Ministry held a board meeting to discuss the issues of handling the requests of citizens and legal entities at the state archival institutions in the second half of 2014, the execution of legislation on struggle against the corruption at the central archival institutions in 2014 and a number of other issues.

The department board noted that handling of citizens’ inquiries and the issuance of archival certificates have been conducted in strict compliance with Belarusian legislation. The work of archival agencies and institutions in the reported period was directed at a timely and qualitative execution of citizens’ inquiries and petitions. The issuance of archival certificates and other reference documents is conducted on the basis of written applications. No violations of legislation have been found.

The observance of legislation on struggle against the corruption at the central state archives has been under permanent control by the Department for Archives and Records Management.

The department board discussed and approved the draft Plan of Actions of the Department for Archives and Records Management in 2015.
