Exhibition Titled «Under the Mantle of Parental Love: From the Cradle to Immortality», Organized by the National Historical Archives of Belarus for the Week of Parental Love
An exhibition titled «Under the Mantle of Parental Love: From the Cradle to Immortality» — prepared by the National Historical Archives of Belarus to coincide with the «Week of Parental Love» (October 14–21, 2026) — has opened at the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus.
S.N.Ryndin, Deputy Director of the National Historical Archives of Belarus, introduced the Ministry’s staff to the unique materials featured in the exhibition. The display showcases archival documents concerning the births, parents, and ancestors of many prominent figures in Belarusian science, art, and literature. While these individuals immortalized their names in history, their personal development was, in many respects, shaped by the support and upbringing they received from their parents.
The exhibition provides a detailed look at the families of figures who are iconic to Belarusian culture and science, including Yanka Kupala, Yakub Kolas, Maksim Bahdanovich, Vincent Dunin-Marcinkiewicz, Mitrofan Dovnar-Zapolsky, Kandrat Krapiva, Marc Chagall, Stefaniya Stanyuta, and several others. The presentation of the exhibition sparked great interest and an enthusiastic response among the staff of the Ministry of Justice.
