Archival Internship for Students of the Faculty of History at the Maxim Tank Belarusian State Pedagogical University at the National Historical Archives of Belarus

From October 5 to October 16, 2026, the National Historical Archives of Belarus hosted the archival component of a combined archival and museum internship for second-year students from the Faculty of History at the Maxim Tank Belarusian State Pedagogical University, who are pursuing a degree in «Historical Education».

During the internship, the students met with the administration of the National Historical Archives of Belarus, learned about the institution’s history, organizational structure, the composition of its holdings, and the functions of its various departments. They also gained insight into measures taken to ensure the preservation of documents and participated in working with the inventory of records from the Construction Department of the Minsk Provincial Administration. Additionally, two sessions were held for the students on the topic: «Key Types of Documentary Sources in the Holdings of the National Historical Archives of Belarus».
