BSAMLA took part in the instructive and methodological seminar of the Academy of Education

On June 24, 2024, leading researcher of the department of information, publication and use of documents of the institution «Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art» (hereinafter referred to as BSAMLA), candidate of historical sciences, associate professor Veronika Petrovna Skok took part in the instructional and methodological seminar «Formation of functional literacy students in the context of implementing the objectives of the Year of Quality» on the basis of the State Educational Institution «Academy of Education».

The event was organized with the aim of improving the professional competence of teaching staff on the issues of developing functional literacy of students in the context of implementing the objectives of the Year of Quality.

The Vice-Rector of the State Educational Institution «Academy of Education», Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor I.A. addressed the seminar participants with a welcoming speech. During the plenary session, specialists from the Academy of Education focused on the main approaches and content of methodological work in the new academic year, on educational training within the educational process.

Methodological recommendations received during the event will be applied by BSAMLA employees in the course of interaction with educational institutions aimed at information education and patriotic education of students based on materials from the National Archival Fund of the Republic of Belarus as part of the republican action «Archives for School».
