Employees of the State Archives of the Minsk Region Completed Occupational Safety and Health Training

 

To ensure systematic and effective training for trade union staff and activists through advanced training programs, internships, and training courses, and in pursuance of Resolution No.45 of the Presidium of the Council of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus dated February 12, 2026, «On the Training of Trade Union Staff and Activists in 2026», employees of the State Archives of the Minsk Region completed occupational safety and health training.

The training was organized by the Minsk Regional Trade Union Organization at the MITSO International University, an educational institution of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus.

The State Archives of the Minsk Region was represented at the training by Tatyana Sachek, chairperson of the primary trade union organization, and Ekaterina Vasilevich, a public occupational safety and health inspector.

The training program included an examination of current changes in legislation, inspection rules, and methods for preventing industrial injuries.

Following the training, archive staff were awarded certificates of public occupational safety inspector.

The knowledge gained will enable effective public oversight of workplace safety within the archive team.
