New Archive Staff: The National Historical Archives of Belarus Welcomes Young Professionals

On August 3, 2026, the National Historical Archives of Belarus hosted an official presentation of the young professionals joining the institution’s staff. Archive Director Mikhail Glushakov introduced four graduates of the Belarusian State University’s Faculty of History to the staff, who are beginning their full-time careers.

The archival team has been strengthened by:

Matvey Bortnik, a graduate of the Historical and Archival Science major. He previously worked part-time at the National Historical Archives of Belarus in the Ancient Documents Department and is now moving to a full-time position as an archivist.

Marat Krupko, a graduate of the History major, has accepted a position as a junior research fellow intern. He will work in the Research, Publication, and Exhibition Activities Sector of the Document Use, Information, and Publication Activities Department.

Dmitry Lutenkov, a graduate of the Belarusian State University’s Master’s Degree in History, has been hired as an archivist in the Information Retrieval Systems Department. Alexander RUTKEVICH, who also successfully completed his Master’s degree in History at BSU, has been hired as an archivist in the Biographical Inquiries Sector of the Document Use, Information, and Publishing Department.

The archive’s management and staff warmly welcomed their new colleagues, wishing them new discoveries, productive work, and professional success.
