The National Historical Archives of Belarus and the Belarusian Research Institute for Documentation and Archival Affairs marked the Day of the October Revolution with a joint staff meeting

On November 6, 2026, a joint celebratory meeting of the staff from the National Historical Archives of Belarus (NIAB) and the Belarusian Research Institute for Documentation and Archival Affairs (BelNIIDAD) was held to commemorate the Day of the October Revolution.

During the event, Nataliya Buloychik, Deputy Director of the National Historical Archives of Belarus, and Andrey Rybakov, Director of the Belarusian Research Institute for Documentation and Archival Affairs, warmly congratulated their colleagues on the holiday. They emphasized the importance of preserving historical memory, respecting national holidays, and safeguarding our documentary heritage.

A highlight of the event was the screening of the documentary film «Women Who Created an Era», produced by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photograph, and Sound Documents. The film, which showcases the remarkable contributions of Soviet women to the formation and development of society during the USSR era, sparked keen interest among all those present. The unique archival footage allowed the audience to gain a deeper appreciation for the spirit of constructive labor and self-sacrifice that defined those years. The event took place in a friendly and festive atmosphere.
