Conducting a film lecture on the basis of the State Educational Institution «Gymnasium No.1 of Dzerzhinsk» as part of the republican action «Archives-School»
May 6, 2024 on the basis of the State Educational Institution «Gymnasium No.1 of Dzerzhinsk» as part of the republican action «Archives to School» and the project «Open Film Archive. We brought this day closer as best we could». Deputy director of the archive Elena Mironovna Grinevich held a film lecture for students in grades 9-11, during which she told students about the enormous work being done at BGAKFFD to preserve the historical memory of the people’s feats during the Great Patriotic War. In conclusion, the schoolchildren were shown the film «Liberation», created by archive workers.
The film, containing unique historical footage depicting Belarusian cities during liberation in 1944, aroused genuine interest among schoolchildren.
