Action «Archives for school» in BSAMLA

On March 27, 2024, as part of the «Archives for School» campaign, the leading archivist of the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art (BSAMLA) Natalya Aleksandrovna Mizon conducted an excursion for 9th grade students of the state educational institution «Secondary School No. 215 in Minsk.»

During the event, students learned about the history of the building in which BSAMLA is located, got acquainted with the documents stored in the archive-museum, and learned about their value for the study of literature and art of Belarus. Particular attention was paid to the rules of work and organization of access to archival materials.

Acquaintance with unique documents and artifacts stored in BSAMLA allowed students to plunge into the past and learn history from primary sources.
