Excursion for participants of the photo workshop «Positive» in BGAMLI

On November 5, 2026, a tour of the building of the former St. Joseph’s Bernardine Church, which houses the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art, was held for the participants of the «Positive» photo workshop working at the Yanka Kupala Central Library. Photo enthusiasts were surprised to learn facts from the almost 400-year history of the baroque architectural complex in the city center. They took memorable photos from the windows of the building in order to feel the old atmosphere of the streets, the market square, and also to capture the beauty of Minsk’s architectural ensembles.

Leading archivist N.A.Mizon invited the participants of the excursion to familiarize themselves with the documents presented at the exhibition «I walk to the poems on foot..»., dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Gennady Buravkin, commented on the conceptual solution of the exhibition and the materials selected for it. The participants of the photo workshop told their stories related to their personal acquaintance with Gennady Nikolayevich; they recited his poems from memory.

Photos created by the participants of the «Positive» photo workshop have already been included in photo exhibitions held at various cultural venues in the city. Club members offered to continue cooperation with BGAMLI in photo and other projects.
