In the Chamber of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, the grand opening of the exhibition «State and Official Heraldic Symbols» took place

On November 5, 2026, the official opening of the exhibition «State Official Heraldic Symbols of the Republic of Belarus» took place in the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus. The exhibition is timed to the 1st reading in the House of Representatives of the Law of the Republic of Belarus «On Amendments to Laws on Official Heraldic Symbols».

The opening of the exhibition was attended by the Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Igor Petrovich Sergeenko and the Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Vadim Dmitrievich Ipatov, First Deputy Minister of Justice Natalia Nikolayevna Filippova, Director of the Department for Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus Oleg Leonidovich Voinov, as well as deputies of the House of Representatives. At the exhibition, standards of state symbols, which are kept by the National Archive of the Republic of Belarus and the Belarusian State Archive of Film and Photographic Documents, were presented. Coats of arms and flags of the territorial units of the Republic of Belarus, standards of emblems, flags, badges and flags of state bodies, organizations, public associations, and political parties were also exhibited.

The exhibition was presented by the leading representative of the Department of Archives and Records, Oleg Sergeevich Strenkovsky, secretary of the Heraldic Council under the President of the Republic of Belarus.

Showcases dedicated to the state heraldic symbol aroused the greatest interest of the public.

To present the uniform, which is also a heraldic symbol, the Department invited representatives of the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, law enforcement agencies, the Water Transport Administration, the Department of Control and Supervision of Construction, the Belarusian Railway, the Belarusian State Academy of Aviation, the Department of State Veterinary Control at the State Border and Transport.

Also, an employee of the Department took part in the working group on the correction of the Law of the Republic of Belarus «On Amendments to Laws on Official Heraldic Symbols».
