On the practical lesson in the zonal state archive in Kobrin as part of the pilot project «Young Archivist»

On February 27, 2025, as part of the pilot project «Young Archivist», a practical lesson on independent digitization of documents and case inventories was held in the zonal state archive in Kobrin for students of grade 9 «A» of Secondary School No.1 in Kobrin.

Archive specialists demonstrated to the schoolchildren all stages of document digitization: from scanning on a continuous scanner to editing the resulting images and saving them.

The students transformed into archivists and tried to independently digitize a fragment of the inventory. The children successfully completed this experiment.

During the lesson, the students were also shown the display case «Military Vernissage», which is on display in the lobby of the archive building.
