Announcement of publications by BSAMLA workers in «Native Word»

The second issue of the monthly scientific and methodological magazine «Native Word», dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the birth of the national poet of Belarus Arkady Aleksandrovich Kuleshov, contains two articles by employees of the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art.

The first publication by the director of BSAMLA, Elena Aleksandrovna Makarenko, «I am an Akiyana Zhytnyaga Kalosse», tells about the life and creative path of the writer, reports on documents from his fund stored in the archive-museum.

The second – by the leading researcher of the BSAMLA Mikhail Pavlovich Kenka – «I and the creators of others’ translations work and work my soul,» based on materials from the archive-museum fund, shows Arkady Kuleshov as a translator, reveals the process of his work on the translation of the poem «The Song of Hiawatha» by Henry Longfellow .
