On conducting a thematic lesson with students of grades 9 and 11 of the State Educational Institution «Skrygalovskaya Secondary School of the Mozyr District»
As part of the cooperation agreement between the Institution «Zonal State Archives in Mozyr» and the State Educational Institution «Skrygalovskaya Secondary School of the Mozyr District» and within the framework of the «Archives to School» campaign, the pilot project «Young Archivist» on January 22, 2024 with students 9 , 11 classes were organized to conduct a historical excursion «From the ashes and ruins..». (post-war restoration of Mozyr).
Historical memory is one of the important acquisitions of civilization. As long as people remember past experiences, human society has the opportunity to develop and improve. The memory of war calls for responsibility for peace on Earth.
The first years after the war… This time has its own exploits and its own heroes: those whose work helped revive cities and restore important historical sites in record time. Little is known about them: to correct this, a historical excursion was organized, during which the children learned how, by whom and in what time frame their hometown was restored after liberation from the Nazi invaders.
