A new national classifier of the Republic of Belarus OKRB 010-2023 «Unified Documents» has been approved
Resolution of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus dated December 6, 2023 No. 75 «On approval, implementation and cancellation of the national classifier of the Republic of Belarus» approved and put into effect the national classifier of the Republic of Belarus OKRB 010-2023 «Unified Documents» (OKUD) (hereinafter – OKRB 010-2023).
The classifier will be put into effect on February 1, 2024 to replace the national classifier of the Republic of Belarus OKRB 010-95 «Unified Documents» (approved by the resolution of the Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Certification of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Belarus dated September 29, 1995 No. 10 (hereinafter – OKRB 010-95).
According to the appendix to the resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated February 13, 2018 No. 121 «On the organization of work with national classifiers,» the republican government body authorized to approve OKRB 010-95 was determined to be the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus.
By Order of the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Belarus dated June 25, 2018 No. 140 «On the delegation of powers,» the authority to maintain OKRB 010-95 was delegated to the Belarusian Research Institute of Document Management and Archival Affairs (BelNIIDAD). By the same order, BelNIIDAD was instructed to revise the classifier, and control functions were assigned to the director of the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus.
On this basis, BelNIIDAD prepared a draft of a new classifier, the maintenance of which is also entrusted to BelNIIDAD, which is reflected in paragraphs. 4.15 clause 4 OKRB 010-2023.
OKRB 010-2023 is a technical regulatory legal act that provides systematization and unification of documents used in certain areas of activity by government bodies and other organizations, regardless of their form of ownership and legal form. OKRB 010-2023 is intended for use by organizations in the field of processing (systematization, accounting, analysis) and retrieval of documented information used in management.
The new classifier was developed taking into account changes in the legal basis for the development and maintenance of a national system of classification and coding of technical, economic and social information, takes into account the existing system of classification and coding of documented information in the unified documentation systems of the Republic of Belarus, corresponds to the modern economic, social, scientific and technical level of development of the state and society.
