Gomel archivists released a new guide to holdings in the State Archives of Gomel Region

The Gomel archivists released a new guide to holdings in the State Archives of Gomel Region.

The guide called “The State Archives of Gomel Region” describes the contents of this Archive and provides descriptions for 2,243 fonds (record groups) systematised by branch of industry into 25 sections. Within each industry the records creating institutions are arranged by type of agency and then geographical location.

The edition is intended for archivists, scholars, graduate and postgraduate students, regional specialists, and researchers into the history of Belarus.
