Event for students of the N.I. Shlyaga Skrygalov Secondary School (Mozyr District)

As part of the national «Archives for Schools» initiative, the Zonal State Archive in Mozyr organized a thematic event on October 26, 2026, for students of the N.I. Shlyaga Skrygalov Secondary School (Mozyr District). Titled «The Role of Women in the History of the State», the event was dedicated to the Year of the Belarusian Woman.

The primary objective was to demonstrate to the students—using archival documents—that women did not play a secondary role in the nation’s history. They held power, engaged in political affairs, and made significant contributions to scientific and spiritual life.

Following the event, the students were shown a documentary film titled «Hurrah! Holidays!!! History Comes Alive on Screen», produced by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photograph, and Sound Documents.
