Lectures for students of the Belarusian State University of Food and Chemical Technologies

On October 5 and 7, 2026, Alexander Petukhov, Head of the Department for Scientific Use and Publication of Documents at the State Archive of the Mogilev Region, delivered a series of lectures on the course «History of Belarusian Statehood». The lectures were held for first-year students of the Faculty of Chemical Technology and first- and second-year students of the Faculty of Engineering and Innovation at the Belarusian State University of Food and Chemical Technologies.

The lectures, titled «The Occupation Regime: Genocide of the Belarusian People During the Great Patriotic War», focused on the preservation of wartime archival documents, their use in the criminal investigation into the genocide of the Belarusian people (initiated by the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Belarus in April 2021), and the work of state archives in publishing materials on this subject.
