Introducing the Updated «Archives of Belarus» Website

Dear Users!

On the eve of the professional holiday for Belarusian archivists — Archivist Day (October 6) — the Belarusian Center for the Digitalization of Archival Activities is pleased to present an updated version of the «Archives of Belarus» sectoral website.

Several stages have been outlined to transform our site into a comprehensive information portal for the Republic of Belarus’s archival sector. The first stage involved redesigning the homepage to make it more modern, visually engaging, and informative, while facilitating user access to the site’s full range of content and functionality. The results of this stage are available for you to see today.

Future modernization phases will include — with the help of AI technologies — the implementation of an interactive reference system. This system will advise users on search methodologies for specific archival records, answer frequently asked questions, provide information on the locations of relevant records, and more.

We always welcome your comments, advice, and suggestions.

We also extend our congratulations to our colleagues in the archival sector on the upcoming Archivist Day!
