«Unified Safety Day» Held at the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus

On September 24, 2026, as part of the «Unified Safety Day» initiative, a training session was held for employees of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus (hereinafter referred to as NARB). The session covered procedures for responding to fires and other emergencies, as well as first aid techniques (including self-aid and mutual aid for potential injuries) to be applied prior to the arrival of emergency responders, ambulance crews, or police. The session was conducted with the participation of a representative from the Pervomaysky District Emergency Department of the Minsk City Ministry of Emergency Situations. During the session, NARB staff were briefed on their obligations regarding fire safety regulations, the proper use of primary fire-extinguishing equipment, and the specific duties of personnel responsible for fire safety.

A practical evacuation drill was also conducted, following the evacuation plans posted on each floor for staff and visitors in the event of a fire or other emergency.
