Rechitsa Secondary School No.7 Tour of the Rechitsa State Archives

On August 11, 2026, as part of the «Archives for School» campaign, staff from the Rechitsa Zonal State Archives met with students from the «Verasok» summer work camp at Rechitsa Secondary School No.7. During the tour, the students learned about the institution’s history and achievements, as well as the essential and valuable work of archivists for the benefit of society and the state. The students were shown the archive’s oldest documents (dating from 1926-1927), publications from the research and reference library, and the permanent archival exhibition «Tatiana Lopatina. Life as a Song», dedicated to the Year of the Belarusian Woman and the 135th anniversary of the birth of singer and composer, Honored Artist of the BSSR, Tatyana Lopatina. In honor of the 85th anniversary of the start of the Great Patriotic War and the defense of the Brest Fortress, the children were shown the documentary film «Hero Fortress», produced by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents.
