Participation of Belarusian archivists in the IV International Anti-Fascist Congress

The IV International Anti-Fascist Congress is being held in Minsk from June 25 to 27, 2026. The main theme of the congress is the fight against the spread of fascist and Nazi ideas in the modern world, strengthening international security, and protecting historical truth.

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko addressed the participants of the IV International Anti-Fascist Congress. The head of state noted that the current Belarusian-Russian congress is being held in the year of the 85th anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War.

Welcoming remarks were addressed to the congress participants by Minister of Defense of the Republic of Belarus V.G.Khrenin and Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation V.P.Goremykin.

O.L.Voinov, Director of the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus, and A.K.Demyanyuk, Director of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus, participated in the congress.

Congress participants were also presented with a banner exhibition, «Land of Courage and Glory», prepared by staff of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus, and a documentary exhibition, «The Female Image of War», prepared by staff of the Belarusian State Film, Photo, and Sound Archives.
