Citizens express their will through dialogue and documents. The Director of the Zonal State Archive in Molodechno, along with a district party committee, visited the Central Election Commission of Belarus

A delegation from the Molodechno District Branch of the Belaya Rus party paid a familiarization visit to the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Belarus. The Director of the Zonal State Archive in Molodechno also participated in the tour.

The tour began with a visit to the CEC Museum, which displays copies of original documents and photographs from state archives. Party members learned about the evolution of Belarus’s electoral system, beginning with the first nationwide elections. They were also presented with developments for young citizens that introduce the voting process in an accessible manner.

A key highlight was a meeting with CEC Chairman Igor Karpenko. A frank and informative dialogue ensued: party members were able to ask questions regarding the structure of Belarus’s electoral system, international experience, and cooperation. The dialogue participants also discussed preparations for the upcoming election campaigns.

Particular attention was paid to such important areas as ensuring the country’s electoral sovereignty, active youth outreach and improving the legal literacy of young voters, the digital transformation of electoral processes, and the feasibility of introducing electronic voting.

Igor Karpenko noted that the Central Election Commission is ready for open interaction with political parties and public associations. According to him, only through joint efforts can we ensure the transparency and legitimacy of electoral processes—a task that concerns every citizen of the country.
