International Archives Week at the Zonal State Archives in Kobrin
From June 8 to 10, International Archives Week was held at the Zonal State Archives in Kobrin.
On June 8, 2026, a seminar was held for the directors of the Kobrin and Pruzhany District Archives on the topic «Scientific and Technical Processing of Documents of Sole Proprietors. Sharing Experiences» at the Zonal State Archives in Kobrin.
The seminar discussed the rules, specifics, and nuances of working with documents of sole proprietors. Participants had the opportunity to share their experiences, ask questions, and discuss practical work on scientific and technical document processing.
We are convinced that such events are truly important for employees of regional archives. They not only generate positive emotions and interest, but also promote closer cooperation between archives.
During this period, our archive was visited by recreation camp teams from state educational institutions in Kobrin, as well as students from the Kobrin Specialized Boarding School. They were given six engaging sightseeing tours, allowing them to explore the historical heritage preserved within the institution’s walls.
Two educational lessons were held for schoolchildren. The first focused on «Artificial Intelligence in Archival Science», and the second on the practical skill of «Creating QR Codes for Archival Documents». These lessons helped the children learn about modern technologies and their application in archival work.
Archival specialists organized a screening of the documentary «Hero Fortress» for the children from the labor camp.
