Seminar at ZGA in Pinsk

On April 24, 2026, at the request of the Brest Regional Organizational Structure of the Republican State-Public Association «Belarusian Society «Knowledge», a seminar was held at the archive for representatives of Pinsk organizations. The seminar focused on «Archives from Scratch within the Framework of Current Belarusian Legislation».

The seminar addressed issues related to recordkeeping in organizations, document management, compiling an organization’s file list and creating documents with different retention periods, destroying documents with expired retention periods, and document transfer procedures during changes in the organization’s director and the person responsible for the archive. Representatives from 10 organizations in Pinsk and the Pinsk region attended the seminar.

Following the seminar, participants were shown the film «Chernobyl: Chronicles of a Tragedy», produced by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents.
