On April 24, 2026, staff from the Zonal State Archives in Pinsk visited second- and third-year students at the Pinsk State College of Builders

The students learned about the causes of the man-made disaster, its consequences for Belarus and the world, and radiation-related illnesses. Particular attention was paid to the heroism of the Soviet people involved in the cleanup efforts. At the end of the meeting, a video clip, «Chernobyl: Chronicles of a Tragedy», created by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents, was shown.
