On the staff meeting of the National Historical Archives of Belarus in Grodno as part of the unified awareness day «Chernobyl: From Revival to Sustainable Development»
On April 16, 2026, a staff meeting was held as part of the unified awareness day «Chernobyl: From Revival to Sustainable Development». Ekaterina Aleksandrovna Belova, senior lecturer in the Faculty of Biology and Ecology at the Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno, delivered a presentation outlining the government’s efforts to eliminate the consequences of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant disaster. Sergei Aleksandrovich Podachenko, Deputy Head of the Grodno City Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, presented the topic «Dry Vegetation Burning. Outdoor Recreation. Information Campaign on the Need for the Installation and Timely Maintenance of APIs». Dmitry Aleksandrovich Shkadov, First Deputy Head of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Leninsky District Administration of Grodno, spoke about the prevention of crimes related to the use of information and communication technologies, including extortion and fraud. At the end of the meeting, Igor Mikhailovich Bobyr, Head of the Leninsky District Administration of Grodno, spoke about new facilities planned for construction in the Grandichi microdistrict.
