On the implementation of the national «Archives for School» campaign at the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation

On March 31 and April 3, as part of the «Archives for School» campaign, first-year students of the Instrument Engineering Department of the Belarusian National Technical University (BNTU) took part in a tour of the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation.

The participants learned about the history of the archive, the building it occupies, as well as its structure and main areas of activity.

The students witnessed firsthand how design documentation is restored on tracing paper, and in the archive’s reading room, they listened to a lecture and viewed archival materials about the destruction of Minsk after the Great Patriotic War and its restoration.
