Participation of a National Archives of the Republic of Belarus Employee in an Event Dedicated to the Year of the Belarusian Woman

On March 20, 2026, as part of events dedicated to the Year of the Belarusian Woman, I.V.Dorogush, Head of the Personal Collections Department of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus, took part in the opening of a thematic stand entitled «Belarusian Women – Heroes of the Great Patriotic War» at A.M.Kizhevatov Secondary School No.206 in Minsk.

In her speech to the students, I.V.Dorogush spoke about the role of women in the Great Patriotic War, their incredible resilience, dedication, and courage demonstrated during the harsh years defending the Fatherland.

As part of the event, I.V.Dorogush presented the school’s principal, E.A.Klimkovich, with a popular science publication, «Women in the Partisan Movement of Belarus», from the «Partisan Archive» publishing project series.
