On the implementation of the national «Archives for School» campaign at the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation

On March 23, as part of the «Archives for School» campaign, a tour was held at the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation for students of the Instrument Engineering Faculty of the Belarusian National Technical University (BNTU).

The participants learned about the history of the archive, the building it occupies, as well as its structure and main areas of activity.

The organization of the archival storage facilities was of great interest to the students, who learned about the rules for document storage, the procedure for issuing and recording files, and measures to ensure the preservation of archival materials.

In the archive’s reading room, the students familiarized themselves with the design documentation of the National Library of Belarus and the Belarusian National Technical University.
