«Archives for School» Campaign at the Zonal State Archives in Lida

On March 24, 2026, 10th-grade students from Lida Secondary School No.1 named after M.G.Minkevich visited the Zonal State Archives in Lida. The students participated in a lesson on «The Genocide of the Belarusian People during the Great Patriotic War. The City of Lida» and were given a presentation on the topic. They learned about the Nazi occupation of Lida and the horrific events we must not forget. As part of the event, the students were given a tour of the archives. They also watched the film «Liberation of the Grodno Region», produced by the Belarusian State Archives of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents.
