Interview with Sergei Ryndin, Deputy Director of the National Historical Archives of Belarus, on the ONT TV channel

On February 12, 2026, Sergei Ryndin, Deputy Director of the National Historical Archives of Belarus, gave an interview to the «Contours» program on the ONT TV channel.

The interview was timed to coincide with the Year of Belarusian Women. Sergei Ryndin discussed the development of the female education system in Belarus in the second half of the 19th and early 20th centuries. The interview covered the emergence of the Mariinsky girls’ gymnasiums, government progymnasiums, and gymnasiums in Belarus, the educational conditions, and the composition of academic subjects. Sergei Ryndin emphasized that this information can be obtained from documents stored by the National Historical Archives of Belarus.
