Participation of the National Historical Archives of Belarus in the Roundtable «Belarusian Women in Science and Education: Current Challenges and Opportunities»

On February 11, 2026, Olga Volkova, PhD in History and Leading Researcher at the Research, Publication, and Exhibition Sector of the National Historical Archives of Belarus, participated in the interdisciplinary scientific and practical roundtable «Belarusian Women in Science and Education: Current Challenges and Opportunities», which was held at the Institute of Sociology of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (1 Surganova Street, Minsk).

The event was timed to coincide with the International Day of Women and Girls in Science and the Year of the Belarusian Woman. Participants discussed the role of women in the development of Belarusian society and national interests, as well as issues of women’s self-realization in science and education.
