On January 21, 2026, the National Children’s Educational and Health Center «Zubrenok» hosted a social hour entitled «History. Pride. Cinema»

Oleg Ivanovich Salo, Honored Veteran of the National Film Studio «Belarusfilm», was the guest of the meeting.

During the meeting, the center’s students learned interesting facts about the development of Russian cinema, watched excerpts from the film «My Life is Cinema», provided by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents, and heard behind-the-scenes stories from the film industry.

They also discussed the importance of preserving historical memory through film. Particular attention was paid to the importance of cinema as a means of fostering patriotism and pride in the homeland.

The event sparked genuine interest among the center’s students, with lively questions and discussions. The meeting took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere, leaving the Zubrenok students with many positive emotions and new insights.
