On January 20, 2026, a staff meeting was held at the Belarusian Center for Digitalization of Archival Activities to summarize the institution’s work for 2025 and determine work plans for 2026

On January 20, 2026, a meeting was held at the Belarusian Center for Digitalization of Archival Activities to summarize the institution’s work for 2025. Olga Aleksandrovna Ledovskaya, First Deputy Director of the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus, attended the event.

The Center’s Director, Denis Valentinovich Shabrov, presented the institution’s performance for the reporting period in a report, accompanied by a media presentation of the Center’s key quantitative and qualitative performance indicators. Denis Valentinovich thanked the staff members for successfully completing the tasks assigned to the Center during the reporting year. During the meeting, those present discussed the results of the work completed and identified priority tasks for 2026.

Summarizing the report, O.A.Ledovskaya gave a positive assessment of the Center’s work in 2025, briefly outlined the challenges facing the archival industry and the Center in 2026, and expressed confidence in the team’s productive work in the coming year.

For the Center, the past year was the first in which its work transitioned from a scientific focus to a practical one, a task the team has largely accomplished successfully. This included maintaining information systems and internet resources for the industry, as well as addressing issues related to their cybersecurity certification.

The Department’s special thanks go to the Archival Technologies Automation Department, which promptly completed unscheduled modifications to the AIS Archive software for statistical accounting of particularly valuable documents.

One wish for the future is to more actively develop extra-budgetary activities, which will expand opportunities for financial incentives for employees.

D.V.Shabrov then presented awards to the most distinguished employees of 2025.

For exemplary performance of their duties, the following were awarded the Head of the Center’s Commendations:

– Deputy Head of the Information Development Department, R.V.Aparovich (absent from the meeting due to an important Department assignment);
– Deputy Head of the Archival Technologies Automation Department, E.K.Cherkasova.

For conscientious work and high professionalism, the Center’s Certificates of Honor were awarded to:

– Assistant Head of the Center, A.V.Khvalevko;
– Second-category specialist, Information Development Department, L.A.Korsakova.
