A Tour for the Third Age

On December 18, 2025, staff of the Belarusian State Archives and Museum of Literature and Art met again in the reading room with representatives of the State Institution «Territorial Center for Social Services of the Zavodskoy District of Minsk». There were so many people wishing to visit the exhibition «Knight of the Human Spirit», dedicated to the 95th anniversary of Vladimir Karatkevich, that the visitor hall could not accommodate everyone at once.

After the tour, exhibition curator N.A.Mizon was asked many questions: about Karatkevich’s novel «Unforgettable» («The Leonids Will Not Return to Earth»), about women in the life and work of the famous writer, about contemporary theatrical productions based on the works of Vladimir Semenovich, and much more. The documents presented at the exhibition sparked a keen interest in the personality of the poet, writer, and playwright Karatkevich and confirmed the relevance of his works for modern readers. The tour, held on New Year’s Eve as part of the «From the Heart» charity event, was a true gift for the older generation, who actively attend cultural events at various institutions, including the Belarusian State Academy of Literature and Art.
