BGAMLI on First Information Channel ahead of Archivist’s Day

On October 3, 2025, ahead of Archivist’s Day, traditionally celebrated on October 6, employees of the Belarusian State Archives and Museum of Literature and Art (hereinafter referred to as BGAMLI) participated in a report on First Information Channel. The interview provided an excellent opportunity to introduce viewers to the rich history of the archive-museum and highlight the work of specialists who contribute daily to the preservation and popularization of Belarus’s documentary heritage.

BGAMLI Director E.A.Makarenko shared her overall vision for the archive-museum’s development, discussed key areas of activity, and outlined future plans. Also participating in the interview were M.I.Pyshinskaya, Head of the Department of Organizational Archives and Formation of the National Archival Fund; V.V.Birulya, Head of the Department of Information, Publication, and Use of Documents; and L.Yu.Studzinskaya, Lead Archivist of the Document Preservation Department. Each participant in the report spoke about their professional journey, shared the specifics of their department’s work, revealed the intricacies of working with unique documents, and congratulated their colleagues on their professional holiday – Archivist’s Day.
