The State Archives of the Mogilev Region held a seminar with specialists from healthcare institutions

On August 14, 2025, archivists from the State Archives of the Mogilev Region held a seminar with specialists from healthcare institutions.

The seminar discussed the development of case nomenclatures in light of the requirements of current regulatory legal acts governing office work and the work of archives. The issues of scientific and technical processing of documents, the procedure for selecting documents for destruction whose storage periods have expired, and liability for violating legislation in the field of archival affairs and office work were covered.

The speakers focused special attention on the preparation and transfer of permanent storage cases whose storage periods in the organization have expired to the state archive.

As part of the «question and answer» section, archivists from the state archive answered questions of interest to specialists from institutions.

At the end of the seminar, its participants were given a tour of the archive’s storage facilities and reading room.

Also presented is a banner exhibition «Again, let’s look closer to the past», which is dedicated to the history of the city of Mogilev during the Great Patriotic War.
