The Institution «Zonal State Archive in Zhlobin» presents a virtual exhibition «Through the Flame to Victory» as part of the inspiring project «Outstanding People of Belarus». This exhibition is dedicated to the life and exploits of Pyotr Andreevich Karibsky, a veteran of the Great Patriotic War and labor, whose fate became a symbol of courage and fortitude.

Pyotr Andreevich, a participant in the historic Victory Parade of 1945, went through the fiery trials of war, preserving in his heart the love for his homeland and faith in a bright future. His life is not only a story of military exploits, but also of the labor achievements that he made for the benefit of his country after the end of the war. As a retired lieutenant colonel and an honorary citizen of the city of Zhlobin, he left an indelible mark on the hearts of people, inspiring the younger generation to serve the Motherland.
