On the participation of an employee of the Belarusian State Film and Photo Archive in the opening of the exhibition

On May 5, 2025, the Minsk Gymnasium-College of Arts hosted the grand opening of the exhibition exposition «Image-Memory-Film Document», dedicated to Belarusian front-line cameramen. The exhibition, containing seven stands, tells about the creators of the newsreels of the Great Patriotic War: I. Veinerovich, M. Berov, V. Tseslyuk, G. Vdovenko and others. The chief curator of the BGAKFFD funds M.D.Romanova took part in the opening of the exhibition and the scientific seminar.

During the scientific seminar, issues of documentary filmmaking as an art history phenomenon, problems of preserving and representing the film chronicle heritage, and project activities of scientific and cultural institutions were discussed.
