On the eve of Victory Day, the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region organized visits to Vitebsk institutions with reports on the history of the liberation of Belarus and the Vitebsk region from the Nazi invaders and the screening of chronicle-documentary films prepared by the BGAKFFD
The events were held at the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Taxes and Levies for the Oktyabrsky District of Vitebsk, the healthcare institution «Vitebsk City Clinical Hospital of Emergency Medical Care», and the Sanitary and Epidemiological Service «Vitebsk Zonal Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology». At the end of the lecture, a chronicle of «Liberation of Vitebsk» was shown.
The films «Liberation of Vitebsk» and «History of the Great Victory» were shown at a forum for young specialists of the branch «Vitebsk Heat Networks» of RUE «Vitebskenergo».
Also, a lecture on the liberation of Belarus from occupation in the summer of 1944 was held for the institutions of the penal executive system of the Department of the Execution of Punishments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Vitebsk Region.
The events find a lively response from the audience.
During the event, an advertising campaign is being held to popularize the YouTube channel «BGAKFFD».
On May 5, the screening of the films «The History of the Great Victory» and «Kazakhstan in the Great Patriotic War» was also held for the employees of the archive itself. Before the event, the director of the archive Korol Alexander Nikolaevich and the deputy director Buevich Tatyana Vladimirovna spoke.
