Meeting at the National Historical Archives of Belarus with the Head of the Mass Media Department of the Standing Committee of the Union State L.V.Kuznets and the General Director of the Publishing House «Commonwealth of Cultures» A.S.Pukhova
On April 14, 2025, a meeting was held at the National Historical Archives of Belarus between the Deputy Director of the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus A.E.Tsvetkov and the heads of the NIA of Belarus with the Head of the Mass Media Department of the Standing Committee of the Union State L.V.Kuznets and the General Director of the Publishing House «Commonwealth of Cultures» A.S.Pukhova.
During the meeting, the prospects for the participation of the NIA of Belarus in the large-scale publishing project «Library of the Union State» were discussed. This project is designed to present to a wide audience publications dedicated to the bright pages of the history of Belarus and Russia, reliable materials about the heroic past of the peoples, about the culture and traditions of Belarusians and Russians. In 2025, the NIA of Belarus took part in the preparation of a book about the owners of the Gomel estate, the Counts Rumyantsev and Paskevich.
The guests of the archive visited the archive storage facility and got acquainted with the unique documents that the archive stores.
