An employee of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus gave a lecture at the Faculty of Radiophysics and Computer Technologies of the Belarusian State University
On April 11, 2025, a lecture on the «Everyday life and cultural and educational activities of partisans during the Great Patriotic War» was held at the Faculty of Radiophysics and Computer Technologies of the Belarusian State University as part of the civic-patriotic project «80 conversations about the Great Victory».
The speaker was the head of the publications department of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus, a postgraduate student of the history department of the Belarusian State University Ulyana Anatolyevna Kolobaeva. In her speech, she covered in detail the main aspects of the history of partisan everyday life: living conditions, food, medical care and cultural and educational activities.
Students of the Faculty of Radiophysics and Computer Technologies of the Belarusian State University were shown newsreels about the partisan movement from the funds of the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents.
After the lecture, Deputy Dean for Ideological and Educational Work of the Faculty of Radiophysics and Computer Technologies of BSU, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor T.P.Yanukovych conducted a tour of the faculty, where she introduced the speaker to the engineering model of the satellite «BSUSat-2», telling about all its characteristics and features.
