Conducting lessons for students of the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No.42 of Grodno» as part of the «Archives to School» campaign at the «State Archives of the Grodno Region» institution

On April 10, 2025, as part of the «Archives to School» campaign, the «State Archives of the Grodno Region» institution conducted 2 lessons on the topic «Partisan and Underground Struggle in the Grodno Region During the Great Patriotic War» for 9th-grade students of the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No.42 of Grodno». The students familiarized themselves with documentary materials on the activities of underground groups and partisan brigades stored in the archive: orders of the headquarters of partisan brigades, information on the sabotage work carried out, on the combat and numerical composition of partisan detachments and brigades, notebooks, photographs, memoirs and letters of participants in the partisan and underground anti-fascist movement.

In the laboratory for restoration, binding and repair of documents, the students observed the process of restoring paper information carriers. The lesson ended with a tour of the archive.
