On April 10, 2025, the institution «Zonal State Archive in Glubokoe» was visited by the Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Belarus Oleg Nikolaevich Kot.

The director of the archive Vasily Morozov told Oleg Nikolaevich about the measures taken to improve the working conditions of the institution’s specialists, as well as the storage conditions of archival documents. He introduced the esteemed guest to the specialists who are engaged in the digitization of documents, provided information on the work done, and touched upon the issues that need to be resolved to speed up this process.

Oleg Nikolaevich was interested in the practical aspects of the archive’s work, clarified how much archival documents are in demand by users, asked about general and specific problems that require assistance in solving them.

The archive staff introduced Oleg Nikolaevich to documents that tell about the work of state authorities in the period 1918-1920 in the territory of today’s Glubokoe, Braslav and Dokshitsy districts, which are stored in the State Archives.
