The National Archives of the Republic of Belarus held a professional meeting with representatives of the notary office to exchange experience in document digitization

On April 9, 2025, the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus (hereinafter referred to as NARB) held a meeting with representatives of the notary office (archivists and IT specialists from Minsk, as well as employees of the Belarusian Notary Chamber), during which issues of document digitization and digital transformation in the activities of archives and notaries were discussed.

The director of the NARB, A.K.Demyanyuk, addressed the guests with a welcoming speech. He spoke about the main areas of the archive’s activities.

Deputy Director of the NARB, E.A.Stukanova, spoke about the organization of the document digitization process in the archive.

Head of the Department of Automated Archival Technologies M.N.Zhilinskaya and Head of the Sector of Information Computer Technologies D.V.Gritsovets answered questions from representatives of the notary office and conducted a tour for the guests, during which they demonstrated scanning equipment, the process of creating and processing digital copies of archival documents.
