Master class on digitizing archival documents at the institution «Zonal State Archive in Orsha» within the framework of the pilot project «Young Archivist»

On March 20, 2025, within the framework of the pilot project «Young Archivist», with students of the 8th «A» class of the state educational institution «Secondary School No.8 in Orsha» by the second category archivist of the document preservation department Tatyana Chugunova, at the State Archive in Orsha, a master class on digitizing archival documents was held.

During the event, the children got acquainted with the process of digitizing archival documents and the procedure for storing digital copies. In practice, they consolidated the knowledge gained by independently digitizing archival documents on special equipment.

At the end of the event, the students were presented with a stand display of archival documents «My plant is my pride!» dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the founding of the Orsha machine-tool plant «Krasny Borets».
