Conducting an event within the framework of the «Archives for School» campaign for students of the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No.2 of Fanipol»

On January 20, 2025, Deputy Head of the Department of Documents and Information Use M.V.Garelik held a lesson with 6th grade students of Secondary School No.2 of Fanipol. The children learned about the work of the Belarusian State Film and Photographic Documentation Archive, the history of its formation, and learned about audiovisual information carriers – film and photographic film, gramophone records, magnetic tape, video and audio cassettes. The lesson aroused genuine interest and a large number of questions from the students.

At the end of the lesson, the students were shown a fragment of the film of the «Open Film Archive» project, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Berezinsky Biosphere Reserve.
