In the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region, as part of the «Archives for School» campaign and the «Young Archivist» project, events were held for students of the Vitebsk State Technological College

On February 14, 2025, as part of the republican campaign «Archives for School» and the «Young Archivist» project, a lecture and excursion were organized for students of the Vitebsk State Technological College studying in the specialty «Documentation Support for Management».

The chief custodian of the archive funds, Konstantin Karpekin, acquainted the audience with the organization of accounting and work to ensure the safety of documents and funds in the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region, demonstrated the main accounting forms and functionality of the «Accounting» and «Safety Ensuring» modules of a typical AIS archive.

During the excursion to one of the archive storage facilities, students were able to familiarize themselves with the organization and conditions for storing and issuing documents, the content of some of the most interesting documents stored in the archive.
