Participation of the Belarusian State Archives and Museum of Literature and Art (BSAMLI) in the International Scientific and Practical Conference Dedicated to the 100th Anniversary of the Yakub Kolas Central Scientific Library of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus

On February 12, 2025, Director of the Belarusian State Archives and Museum of Literature and Art (hereinafter referred to as BSAMLI) E.A.Makarenko took part in the plenary session of the International Scientific and Practical Conference «Science. Library. Information» dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Yakub Kolas Central Scientific Library (hereinafter referred to as the CSL) of the National Academy of Sciences (hereinafter referred to as the NAS) of Belarus.

The conference was chaired by Academician-Secretary of the Department of Humanities and Arts of the NAS of Belarus, Academician of the NAS of Belarus, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor A.A. Kovalenya, Director of the Yakub Kolas CSL of the NAS of Belarus, Candidate of Historical Sciences S.S. Yuretsky.

The reports at the plenary session were made by the Director General of the Russian State Library, President of the Russian Library Association, President of the Library Assembly of Eurasia (Moscow, Russia) V.V.Duda «Acquisition of library collections» and the Director of the Yakub Kolas Central Scientific Library S.S.Yuretsky «The Central Scientific Library of the NAS of Belarus: history, modernity, future».
